James Knight talks about his own experiences while on the road as a reporter, producer, best-selling author, and a traveller with an insatiable wanderlust. His stories include comical accounts of touring with the Australian cricket team. He also paints hilarious pictures of his time living in India where he ran through crowded streets dodging goats, cows, camels, and buses, while training for the New York Marathon. Despite the sporting nature of some of the material, James’s accounts go far beyond the boundary. A true people person James tells deeply moving stories about his experiences in many countries, including India, Pakistan, South Africa, Poland, and Turkey. In 2004, he spent time in the crime-ridden housing projects of Chicago’s west-side. He is a genuine speaker who has the rare ability to touch every single person in the audience.
